Chongqing Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Group”) is the only pharmaceutical enterprise affiliated to Chongqing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and the holding subsidiary of Chongqing Chemical & Pharmaceutical Holding (Group) Company. The Group was the former Southwest Branch Company of China Pharmaceutical Company founded in 1950 and it was restructured as a joint-stock company. In March 2012, by integrating resources, the Group realized integrated layout of science, industry and trade. Up to now, the Group possesses over 30 branches and subsidiaries covering Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Hebei, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, etc. and nearly 11,000 employees (including 3,046 professional technicians).
